AUTUMN EYECATCHERS in the garden


AUTUMN EYECATCHERS

  • 1.    Correa ‘Marian’s Marvel’ Evegreen shrub with green-grey foliage and bell-shaped flowers throughout the autumn and summer.
  • 2.    Euonymus myrianthus Large evergreen with bright green leaves and yellow-orange fruit that last through much of the winter.
  • 3.    Camellia sasanqua “Paradise Belinda’ Glossy foliage with large, long-flowering pink blooms.
  • 4.    Berberis ‘Georgei’ Prickly plant witth dark foliage and abundant clusters of red berries.
  • 5.    Acer triflorum Medium-sized tree with grey-brown back and clusters of flowers in spring. Leaves turn orange or red in autumn.
  • 6.    Sorbus forrestii Deciduous tree with distinctive white berries, tinged with pink.
  • 7.    Euonymus europaeus ‘Thornhayes’ Large shrub with deep bronze autumn colour and prolific pink berries.
  • 8.    Cornus florida ‘Pink Flame’ With striking variegated leaves, this prefers moist, acidic soil.
